today was quite a fulfilling day. i guess. standing on stage, speaking mandarin is so not my thing. i dont know why. but i just cant speak mandarin on stage. i can speak it anywhere else, at anytime. but NOT on stage. especially the mg one. ahhh. my presentation was so screwed up!
had church after sch. it was good. havent heard from jasmine for a long time. today's sermon was quite interesting. and we did holy communion with our caregrps [cells]. pretty unusal. haha. and we actually did the caregrp covenents today. we never actually did it in church before.
anyhow. had pizza for dinner. at choon's house. watched friends and a bit of 'the notebook' then we did this farewell thingy for angelina. she's coming back on jan 6th 2007. GOSH. the plan now is that she wont even return during her hols. but somehow, i dont think that plan will work. ah well.
it's so strange to have a best fren gone.
oh yes. tamar called for meeting today. and er. it was abt restructuring. it's not a pleasant topic. it never was anyway.
central started out 4 and a 1/2 yrs ago. it was the fastest growing district. but recently, it has been the only district that has been staying at 120 ppl. never really grew. never really shrunk. though i seriously think it shrunk a lot. they splited into central 1 and central 2 before. but now, we're merging back again. and daniel's going to lead the entire central.
cant believe tamar and shuyi and some others are gng to leave for the tertiary grp. how odd.
and it's gng to be 5 units instead of the previous 6. quite strange. cause the 6th unit only lasted for half a yr.
ah well. mg's careleader [cell leader]'s leaving on 2nd feb.
seriously think that today's sermon was what God has trying to tell me. and what angelina said during the farewell thingy struck me.
probably have been taken God's conversation with me for granted. like. so many ppl cant have that dialogue with Him but i can. probably have been doubting so much that God took it away. and now, it's just a monologue.
and today, jasmine spoke so much about challenging us to become CLs. felt kinda wow-ed. cause i havent attended sermons for ages. and also cause many have encouraged and challenged me to take up this role as a CL. but honestly. i just cant pull myself to it. and after today's sermon, i feel that God is really trying to tell me to take it up. and He'll back me up no matter what [quote from winnie]
to one of my best frens, angelina: haha. u've read that 7 postcards, see the bottle of stars, the necklace [with my pendent. haha] and the photoframe [with no photo due to my inefficient brother. hahaha. i'll send it to you next time. heehee]. so. i've got nothing much to say. heehee. everything has to come to an end =)
btw. it was cong's last day in sch today. ah well.
